My passion and hobby is WOOD WORKING. I love to create unique exotic hardwood pieces of wood work. My shop is in Houston Texas and I have been enjoying wood working for over 30 years now. Most everything I know has been self taught and through watching UA-cam videos. I am always working on the shop to make it a more enjoyable place to hang out and do wood working. I am meticulous about having everything in order and organized. I do quite a bit of wood burning projects and "Resin & wood" projects. I think resin and wood go wonderful together and make some beautiful pieces of artwork. My desire is that you enjoy the content of my channel and share it with all your friends. Please let me know if I can be of any help to you!
Thank you very much!

So impressive, from a practical and visually attractive aspect. Love the stainless benches, I've done the same and find them great to work on and easy to clean, without worrying about scratches. Enjoy your clever planning and hardwork.
Thank you my friend thank you very much. And that's stainless steel is awesome you're right. it is wonderful to work on. Another trick you can use on them underneath that stainless steel I have quarter inch steel plates sitting on top of the wood deck. Then I put the stainless on top of that it keeps the stainless from getting dented or dinged in. And it lets me still use magnets on the stainless steel top. I think I went over all that in one of my question and answer videos about the shop I believe. it's been awhile so I'm not certain but I think so. And thank you for reaching out my friend I appreciate that very much from Doug
@fleetswoodshop3339 Sorry, I missed the video about the benchtop. Will take a look. The idea of putting steel under the stainless steel is another brilliant idea. My own stainless bench tops are dinged up, but as you pointed out, the underlay of mild steel sheet will prevent this. The other idea of designing the bench so you can easily walk on it for upper access is also very clever. You have thought things out so well, truly impressive.
Lindsay thank you my friend thank you and yeah I kid you not having that steal under the stainless makes all the difference for sturdying up the stainless and still having the easy cleanable work surface. I'm glad you find it helpful my friend. And yeah being able to walk on top of it is really a blessing. I hope it works out wonderful for you if you give it a try, I truly do and thank you so much. From Doug
Thank you for your kind words and taking the time to respond. The internet is truly a magical thing. I'm down under in Australia, at about 8:45 on a Wednesday morning having just had a wonderful chat with yourself so far away.
@lindsaybrown7357 you're right my friend that certainly is an amazing thing. Being able to chat all over the world. I was in Sydney a year and a half ago. Only for a weekend but I got to check out the town and that was really nice. I actually went and saw my very first opera there. And I have to be honest it will probably be my last opera. LOL It is 5:20 p.m. here in Houston Texas. On Tuesday evening. So you you're talking to me in the past and I'm talking to you in the future LOL LOL. Thank you my friend thank you that one made me smile so I'll tell you good morning and have a wonderful day
Great idea Doug!! But I would expect nothing less from you!!
James that's so very nice of you thank you my friend thank you so much. I hope you like it and find great news from it. Appreciate that buddy from Doug
When I die, if I go to heaven and the woodshop doesn't look like this I'll be disappointed...
I hear you my friend I know what you mean I always tell everybody I consider the shop My Little Piece of Heaven on Earth. And thank you my friend thank you so much. If you're interested I've got two or three questions and answer videos where I go into detail about the shop on the channel. But more importantly thank you for reaching out my friend that means a lot to me. From Doug
Nice Doug.
Well thank you my friend thank you so very much. I'm glad you reached out I appreciate that very very very very very very very very much. Thank you buddy
This is very cool. I have one of these which was bought by my father. I am, however, just missing the Chuck key... (Part number 1) Do you know what size of a key this is to replace?
Hello my friend hello. No I'm afraid off the top of my head I do not know but I do have the booklet I'll see you sometime in the next week I can check it out and find out for you. And if I can I'll certainly let you know thank you thank you from Doug
Hey there my friend how are you doing I wanted to let you know I took the machine down and checked over the pamphlet everywhere and everything and I cannot find anything that mentions the size of the check key although it looks to be a quarter inch shank key. I'm sorry there's nothing anywhere that tells me exactly which key it is. But I bet you can figure it out. If I come across anything else on it my friend I'll certainly let you know and thank you so much again for reaching out. From Doug
